Executive Director
Kara Colhoff

Kara steps into LCAN's first-ever Executive Director role after serving as a contractor to the organization for three years. Her natural tendency to collaborate with others lends well to working with local institutions and other Lander nonprofits. When not working, you can find Kara in her garden, running or skiing on local trails, or hanging with her family and friends.

Board Vice President

Board Secretary
Jonathan Williams (JW)

Having grown up in Iowa, JW discovered a love for mountains, rivers, and skiing when he moved to the Mountain West. Now that he calls Lander home, working on climate issues allows him to give back to the things he values most — the natural world, outdoor adventure, and a strong and vibrant community. He's proud to serve on the LCAN board and love to pull new people into the conversation.
Board Treasurer
Gina Colovich

Gina is thrilled to be a part of the grassroots movement in our community to address one the most critical issues of our time, Climate Change. She has a background in accounting also serves as Executive Director for a local nonprofit. She is happy to share my skills with the Lander Climate Action Network!
Board Member
John Burrows

John moved to Lander in 2017 for the incredible recreation and opportunities to be outside fishing, hunting, camping, and climbing. He stayed because of the great community and quality of life that rural Wyoming offers. He was one of the founding members of LCAN in 2019 and currently works as the Energy and Climate Policy Director for the Wyoming Outdoor Council where he focuses on state policy that encourages community resilience, emissions reductions, and responsible energy development. When he is not working or fishing, he's probably out gardening or somewhere in the Wind River's with a group of NOLS students.

Claire Cella

Claire is a freelance designer and writer living in Lander. She's a lover of poetry, trails through the mountainous public lands in her backyard, and most recently, birds. She's been a member of LCAN since its early days in 2020 and has continued to serve as a board member because she believes our best chance for a vibrant and liveable future is through the passion and resilience found in local communities.
